HCLTech has been operational in Hyderabad since 2007, and with this new facility, its presence in the city now encompasses five centres with a combined capacity of 8,500 seats. The expansion reinforces Hyderabad's position as a strategic hub for technology innovation and talent.

On January 14, HCLTech announced that it has partnered with Seattle-based Carrix, the world’s largest marine and rail terminal operator, to enhance global port operations using its advanced AI of Things (AIoT) technology platform. The initial deployment will take place at Carrix’s ports in Mexico, with potential expansion across North and South America. Leveraging its automation, AIoT, and Vision AI expertise, HCLTech will integrate Carrix’s terminal management tools into a unified system. The VisionX AI Edge platform will connect cameras, fleet systems, and sensors to deliver real-time insights and optimise port safety and efficiency.
