TCS partners with Vantage Towers to enhance telecom site management across Europe

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has partnered with Vantage Towers, Europe's second-largest telecom tower operator, to launch a digital service platform aimed at improving the experience of property owners leasing land for telecom tower installations. The initiative seeks to streamline service processes, enhance landlord retention, and strengthen partnerships across Vantage Towers’ network of 86,000 sites in Europe.
As part of the collaboration, TCS will deploy its telecom-focused solution, TCS Crystallus™, to support Vantage Towers in its digital transformation efforts. The new platform will offer property owners round-the-clock access to customer support through multiple channels, ensuring seamless communication and service management. Vantage Towers’ agents and other stakeholders will also be able to access key information across the enterprise via the unified system.
Vantage Towers’ Chief Digital Officer, Tobias Steinig, highlighted the importance of long-term relationships with landlords, stating that they are essential for network expansion and digitalisation efforts across Europe. The partnership with TCS, he said, reaffirms the company’s commitment to operational excellence and transparency.

The initiative is expected to drive growth by converting property partners into long-term advocates, helping Vantage Towers expand its telecom infrastructure sustainably. TCS, which has been a technology partner to Vantage Towers for several years, will work with ServiceNow, a leading digital workflow solutions provider, to optimise service processes and ensure a smoother experience for landowners.
ServiceNow’s Vice President for Telecommunications, Rohit Batra, said the collaboration would consolidate multiple systems into a unified platform, improving operational efficiency and setting new standards for the telecom infrastructure industry.
In related news, Tech Mahindra today signed an agreement with Telefónica España, a major telecommunications provider in Spain to enhance its network operations. On Tuesday, Jio Platforms said that it has partnered with AMD, Nokia and Cisco to build an open-source AI platform for telcos, which will integrate AI and automation into its telecom network operations. IT firm Zoho has also said that it is developing its own Indic language-focussed LLM.
