Proofpoint appoints Bikramdeep Singh as India Country Manager

Cybersecurity and compliance company Proofpoint has appointed Bikramdeep Singh as its new India Country Manager. In this newly created role, he will oversee the company’s strategy, manage operations, and focus on expanding its customer base in India. 

Bikramdeep Singh has extensive experience in the cybersecurity and IT industry, having led teams and driven business growth in India. He previously held leadership roles such as AVP - India and SAARC at Imperva, EDR and SOAR Business Lead at Palo Alto Networks, and Enterprise Business Lead at RSA. He also worked at Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Wipro in various sales and account management roles. 

Singh said he is looking forward to leading Proofpoint’s India operations at a time when artificial intelligence is reshaping businesses and cybersecurity needs are evolving. He emphasised the importance of Proofpoint’s cybersecurity platform in helping customers protect their data and navigate emerging threats.

Singh holds an MBA in Marketing and Operations from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Mechanical Engineering from Punjab Technical University.
