The week (April 26-May 2) witnessed several CXO movements in the tech industry. IT companies such as LTIMindtree, WNS, and Inspira, appointed industry leaders in key business positions. Non-tech companies such as Dwarikesh Sugar Industries and Logica Infoway appointed tech executives to lead some of their IT and digital affairs. Movements also happened in Insurtech firms like Ensuredit Technologies. Here’s the roundup:

Anand Trivedi to lead Cyber Defence at LTIMindtree

Anand Trivedi has joined LTIMindtree as Global Leader for Cyber Defence and Resiliency. He brings over 20 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT strategy, and operations to lead LTIMindtree's global cyber-resilience and defense initiatives. Prior to this, Anand held senior leadership roles at organisations including CyberProof, UST, TÜV SÜD, Aujas Networks, Capgemini, and IGATE. His areas of expertise span business strategy, cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered solutions, and governance of information security. Trivedi has a proven track record of leading global functions, managing Fortune 500 accounts, and building high-performing teams.

Logica Infoway appoints Kshitij Goel as CIO

Logica Infoway has appointed Kshitij Goel as CIO, responsible for business development and marketing efficiency strategies. Goel, also designated as key managerial personnel (KMP), brings professional experience in logical automation and optimization from AMZL and Amazon Logistics US as a product manager. Goel completed his mechanical engineering and business management studies at Boston University in the US. As per the company’s notice to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), Goel has expertise in managing consumer IT and Telecom hardware distribution and retail. 

Inspira appoints Abdul Wahab Mohammed as CEO of MEA

Inspira Enterprise has appointed Abdul Wahab Mohammed as CEO of its Middle East and Africa (MEA) Region. Based in Riyadh, he will be responsible for expanding and further developing Inspira’s regional presence in his new role at the Mumbai-headquartered cybersecurity firm. He will also work to strengthen customer relationships and deliver solutions customised to the evolving threat landscape in MEA. Over two decades of experience, Mohammed was previously with Infosys for nearly 14 years and held leadership roles in PwC and General Electric.

Ensuredit gets a new CTO

Insurtech firm Ensuredit Technologies has appointed Srinivas Kotta as CTO. With 30 years of software industry experience, Kotta will advance Ensuredit’s technology strategy, drive innovation, and strengthen engineering operations as Ensuredit expands into the Middle East, UK, and Southeast Asia. Kotta held senior positions at Adobe, Microsoft, IBM, Sun Microsystems, and Motorola. He has also mentored several early-stage startups. His academic background includes an MS by Research and a B.Tech in Computer Science, both from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.

Shankar Venkatesan to lead cybersecurity initiatives at Violin Tech

Shankar Venkatesan has been appointed as CISO & Vice-President – IT at Chennai-headquartered Violin Technologies. With over 25 years of expertise, in his new role, he will spearhead initiatives to enhance the company’s cybersecurity framework, strengthen its Group SAP landscape, and accelerate automation across operations. Prior to joining Violin, Shankar held leadership positions at Avalon Technologies, where he led IT and InfoSec functions across multi-cloud environments and large enterprise systems. His expertise includes data centres, zero trust architecture, and SAP security.

Rupesh Vaish gets a new tech role at Dwarikesh Sugar Industries

Rupesh Vaish has been promoted to Deputy General Manager – IT at Dwarikesh Sugar Industries Ltd. A driving force since 1995, Vaish will lead IT strategy and operations, modernising IT systems and supporting the company's growth. He previously held leadership roles—including Chief Manager and Assistant General Manager—playing a pivotal part in modernising IT systems, enhancing operational efficiency, and supporting the company’s growth through technology.

Sandeep Khare to lead digital security initiatives at WNS

Sandeep Khare is now Corporate VP of Information Security at WNS. With nearly two decades of experience, he will lead digital security initiatives, ensuring secure AI adoption and strengthening information security. Previously, Khare has led major programs at WNS around information security, privacy compliance, risk assessment, GDPR alignment, and security strategy across global operations. He has earlier held leadership roles at Fidelity Investments and NTPC. Khare’s deep understanding of cybersecurity, privacy frameworks, and regulatory compliance, combined with AI security, positions him as a key leader in driving WNS’ ongoing digital transformation and future-ready security programs.
