Apexon makes key exec appointments, names new president and chief delivery officer

Goldman Sachs-backed Apexon, a digital engineering and services firm, has expanded its leadership team by appointing Justin Marcucci as President and Bhavesh Mehta as Chief Delivery Officer (CDO).
In his new role, Marcucci will oversee the company’s commercial operations, with responsibility for global sales, revenue strategy, client relations, partnerships, and marketing. With over 25 years of international experience in digital products and consultancy, he previously served as Chief Digital Officer at Endava. There, he led digital growth initiatives, managed North American and global operations, and played a significant role in the company’s 2018 listing on the New York Stock Exchange. Earlier, he founded Nickelfish, a digital agency later acquired by software development company Endava.
Mehta, meanwhile, will lead Apexon’s global delivery operations. He brings with him experience from senior roles at Eviden (a part of the Atos Group) and Capgemini. His background includes responsibilities in strategy, operations, and delivery leadership across multiple regions, including the US, UK, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. He has worked across sectors such as banking, healthcare, and insurance, with a focus on improving efficiency and driving technology-based transformation.

Commenting on the appointments, Apexon Chief Executive Officer Sriniketh Chakravarthi said, “We are pleased to welcome Justin and Bhavesh as we build for the next stage of our growth. Their experience in digital transformation and operational management will be key as we aim to deliver more value to our clients globally.”
“Apexon’s mission of building intelligent enterprises aligns well with my belief in technology’s power to drive positive change. I’m looking forward to helping our teams and clients grow in this fast-moving digital landscape,” said Marcucci.
While Mehta added, “I am excited to help lead Apexon’s global delivery strategy. Our focus will be on driving innovation and improving delivery outcomes that benefit our customers.”

The appointments come as Apexon looks to strengthen its position in the digital services sector and accelerate its international growth. In an earlier interview with TechCircle, CEO Chakravarthi has outlined the company’s plans to double its workforce over the next three to four years, with a strong emphasis on the Indian market. The company currently employs 5,000 people globally, 70% of whom are based in India.
