Infosys, Google Cloud expand AI collaboration with launch of over 200 enterprise AI Agents

Infosys, in partnership with Google Cloud, has launched over 200 enterprise AI agents aimed at improving business operations across multiple industries. The agents are developed through Infosys Topaz, the company’s AI platform, and are powered by Google Cloud’s Vertex AI.

This collaboration focuses on delivering scalable AI solutions that automate complex workflows and support multi-agent operations. The AI agents are designed to address sector-specific challenges in healthcare, finance, retail, telecom, manufacturing, and agriculture. By combining Infosys’ AI development expertise with Google Cloud’s infrastructure and generative AI tools, the two companies aim to support enterprises in managing digital transformation at scale.

The AI agents apply machine learning and cognitive processing to extract insights from raw data, operate securely, and handle various types of inputs. They are capable of making autonomous decisions, enabling faster execution of tasks with reduced manual intervention.

As part of the collaboration, the agents are tailored for specific enterprise use cases. For instance, a network monitoring agent tracks real-time network capacity and sends alerts to prevent potential disruptions. In finance, agents manage accounts payable and receivable processes, improving accuracy and financial oversight. In manufacturing, forecasting agents analyze demand for vehicle parts, manage inventory, and automate supply chain decisions.

The AI agents are a result of ongoing work at the Google Cloud Center of Excellence, which is jointly operated by Infosys and Google Cloud. This initiative combines the advanced capabilities of Infosys Topaz with the AI and cloud infrastructure of Google Cloud to deliver enterprise-ready solutions.

Balakrishna D. R. (Bali), Executive Vice President, Global Services Head, AI and Industry Verticals, Infosys, said, “The development of more than 200 enterprise AI agents marks a milestone in our continued efforts to innovate and lead in the enterprise AI space.”

“Enterprise AI agents have the power to improve operations by driving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing decision-making processes,” said Victor Morales, Vice President of GSI and Consulting Partnerships, Google Cloud.
