There have been multiple developments this week on the tech front. From the Microsoft-Yotta partnership to HPE’s managed network solutions, here is a list of the most important updates for a quick catch-up:

Microsoft-Yotta partnership

Microsoft and Yotta Data Services have partnered to accelerate AI adoption among developers, startups, enterprises, and public sector organizations across India.  Under this partnership,  Microsoft will bring its AzureAI services to Shakti Cloud, Yotta’s AI cloud platform.

The partnership combines Azure AI’s advanced models, applications, and development tools with Yotta’s AI compute platform. This combination is expected to support fast training and real-time AI inferencing across key sectors such as agriculture, healthcare, education, finance, manufacturing, retail, and media.

Infosys grabs deal from European energy firm

European energy company E. ON has selected IT services firm Infosys to create a data-driven and sustainability-focused digital workplace ecosystem. This partnership will transform E. ON into a full-stack digital energy company.

The collaboration will leverage Infosys Topaz to modernize operations, enhance user value, and foster innovation through a product-centric and automated approach, while enforcing security and compliance. E.ON and Infosys will implement a human-centric support model to improve employee efficiency and to enable even faster business innovation.

Further, on Wednesday,  Infosys launched the Infosys Agentic AI Foundry, a comprehensive solution within Infosys Topaz, designed to accelerate enterprise AI agent development and deployment. The platform features a repository of pre-built horizontal and vertical agents, enabling organisations to develop, customise, and integrate AI solutions across their ecosystems.

Additionally, this week, Infosys, in partnership with Google Cloud, has launched over 200 enterprise AI agents aimed at improving business operations across multiple industries. The agents are developed through Infosys Topaz, the company’s AI platform, and are powered by Google Cloud’s Vertex AI. 

Vi partners with HPE for managed enterprise network solutions

Vodafone Idea’s enterprise arm, Vi Business, has entered into a managed services partnership with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) to deliver enterprise networking solutions in India. The agreement will use HPE Aruba Networking products to provide managed wireless LAN, switching, and network security services. 

The partnership aims to support enterprise connectivity needs across various sectors, including corporate offices, manufacturing sites, and campus environments. Vi Business will manage and deliver these services through its Network Operations Center (NOC), offering ongoing support under defined service level agreements. The solutions will use artificial intelligence and machine learning to enhance network operations and enable data-driven management. 

LTIMindtree and Aramco Digital launch new firm

Aramco Digital, the digital and technology subsidiary of Aramco, and LTIMindtree, a global technology consulting and digital solutions company, have officially launched NextEra, a next-generation IT services company headquartered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

 A strategic joint venture between LTIMindtree and Aramco Digital, named LTIM Aramco Digital Solutions for Information Technology Company - NextEra, is expected to accelerate Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation in alignment with the Kingdom’s ambitious Vision 2030. The initial announcement for the company was made in 2024.
