Indian IT HCLTech and US-headquartered enterprise automation firm UiPath have formed a strategic partnership to accelerate agentic automation for UiPath customers worldwide. This collaboration will drive large-scale transformation across industries, enabling intelligent and self-sufficient business processes with minimal human intervention.

HCLTech will utilise its AI expertise to deploy the UiPath Platform, enabling autonomous operations in areas like finance, supply chain, and customer service. Pre-configured AI agents and controls will ensure seamless deployment and scalability. The partnership aims to improve business agility, optimise workforce efficiency, and accelerate ROI on automation investments.

In India, HCLTech will establish an AI Lab with UiPath to develop Industry-Focused Repeatable Solutions (IFRS) and MVPs covering the entire automation lifecycle. HCLTech will leverage its global delivery model to support UiPath customers across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.

With this acquisition, UiPath adds about 100 employees to its existing India headcount of up to 500. The company also acquired Manchester-based Peak to enhance its vertical AI solutions strategy.
