
Boeing appoints Shashank Jha as CIO and Head of Digital Technology for India


Boeing has named Shashank Jha as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and India site leader for Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S). He will be based in Bengaluru and will lead the strategy and operations of Boeing’s IDT&S function in the country. The India team includes nearly 1,500 employees.
In this role, Jha will manage site operations, team development, and internal engagement across Boeing’s IDT&S India division. He will also work closely with business partners across Boeing’s global IDT&S function to support collaboration and technology delivery.
In addition to his responsibilities as site leader and CIO, Jha has been named executive director of commercial Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) products. These products are a key part of Boeing’s engineering processes and operations worldwide.

Jha has over two decades of experience in IT and engineering leadership. Before joining Boeing, he served as India Global Capability Center leader at Dover Corporation. There, he oversaw corporate IT operations across India and China. Earlier, he held leadership roles in IT and digital transformation at major industrial companies including General Electric, Honeywell, and Bosch. His focus areas have included enterprise systems, cybersecurity, product engineering platforms, and digital transformation initiatives.

Jha holds a master's degree in software systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. He also earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Bhilai Institute of Technology.
