Genpact acquires AI firm XponentL
Technology services provider Genpact has announced the acquisition of XponentL Data, a data products and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions company. The acquisition is intended to deepen Genpact’s capabilities in the areas of data strategy, architecture, engineering, and AI deployment, as the company continues its shift toward a more AI-driven operating model.
XponentL Data, headquartered in Pennsylvania, brings with it various services, including domain-led data design, modern data platform implementation, and strategic industry solutions.

Additionally, this week US-based networking solutions company Netgear on Friday announced its acquisition of Bengaluru-based cybersecurity startup Exium to enhance its integrated services for managed service providers (MSPs) and customers. The acquisition follows Netgear's recent purchase of Chennai-based VAAG Systems.
CtrlS-BSE partnership
CtrlS Datacenters Ltd has entered into a partnership with the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), providing the digital infrastructure required to support the daily processing of over 700 crore transactions.
With trading now primarily conducted through electronic systems, reliable data centre infrastructure has become essential to financial institutions. CtrlS provides the digital backbone that supports BSE’s core operations, enabling the exchange to function securely and efficiently. The systems in place are designed to meet the demands of a growing investor base and the increasing complexity of financial transactions.
Infosys AI tech to transform tennis fan experience at Roland-Garros 2025

Infosys has announced a new suite of artificial intelligence-powered features set to redefine the fan experience at Roland-Garros 2025. Now in its seventh year as the official AI and Digital Innovation Partner of the French Tennis Federation (FFT), the technology firm will roll out immersive, interactive tools designed to deepen audience engagement and enhance the tournament’s digital landscape.
TCS to modernise Virgin Atlantic’s operations
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) will lead a major overhaul of Virgin Atlantic’s digital and operational systems, focusing on the use of artificial intelligence and cloud-first solutions. The aim is to enhance the airline’s operational efficiency, improve system performance, and support better customer and crew experiences.
In a newly signed seven-year extension of their two-decade partnership, TCS and Virgin Atlantic will deepen their collaboration to modernise the airline’s core technology. The work includes the development of a centralised Technology Command Centre, designed to deliver real-time operational insights, streamline decision-making, and equip staff with timely, relevant data.
Wipro wins multi-year tech transformation deal from Entrust

Wipro Limited on Tuesday entered into a multi-year agreement with Entrust, a US-based company focused on identity-centric security solutions.
This partnership is expected to help Entrust improve operational efficiency, support its digital transformation goals, and manage IT costs more effectively. Under the agreement, Wipro will support Entrust in scaling its operations and accelerating growth by providing support for product development, infrastructure services, and application modernisation.
Tech Mahindra to modernise IT Infrastructure for Netherlands-based multi-utility firm
Tech Mahindra has entered into a multi-year partnership with Netherlands-based firm Hanab to modernise their IT infrastructure. The partnership aims to streamline operations and implement next-generation technologies to support Hanab’s growth aspirations.

A multi-utility service provider focused on infrastructure solutions in the fields of energy & utility, connectivity, and building installation, Hanab was recently acquired by European private equity firm Triton Partners.
Mphasis launches CoE for Financial Services in Argentina
On Thursday, Mphasis announced the inauguration of its maiden Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Financial Services in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The company has onboarded 50 technology experts and plans to scale up to ~200 by the end of the year, and potentially grow the number annually, thereafter.
This strategic hub signifies Mphasis' commitment to pioneering applied AI solutions in Argentina and the Latam region for Financial Services. The country’s deep knowledge in Financial Services, combined with Mphasis’ technological strengths, forms the foundation for establishing the CoE, the company said in a statement.
Karnataka approves Quantum Research park at IISc

Karnataka Minister for Electronics and IT/BT Priyank Kharge has said that the state cabinet has approved the plan to establish Quantum Research Park phase-2 at IISc in Bengaluru.
The minister tweeted on X (formerly Twitter) that with a government grant of ₹48 crore, the park will be developed in partnership with the Foundation for Science, Innovation and Development (FSID).
“This initiative will strengthen Karnataka’s leadership in quantum research, skill-building and innovation. It will offer a collaborative space for academia, startups and industry to work on cutting-edge quantum technologies,” he wrote.
