LTIMindtree rolls out AI-Powered GCC-as-a-Service for enterprise

Indian IT services firm LTIMindtree on Tuesday introduced its Global Capability Centre or GCC-as-a-Service offering, aiming to help enterprises set up, scale, and transform their GCCs into high-value innovation hubs.
The new service is designed as a modular, per-seat or per-service solution covering the entire lifecycle—from building legal entities and infrastructure to operating them with AI-driven governance, and eventually transitioning ownership to clients. The firm’s BlueVerse Agentic AI ecosystem and global AI studios will support transformation and value delivery.
“GCCs are becoming strategic centres for industry-specific transformation and efficiency,” said Venu Lambu, CEO and MD, LTIMindtree. “This offering helps clients build, scale and evolve their GCCs using our BlueVerse ecosystem for next-gen capabilities.”

GCC-as-a-Service is a model where a third-party sets up and operates a Global Capability Centre for a company—managing staffing, infrastructure, compliance, and operations—so firms can tap global talent, lower costs, and focus on core business minus the setup burden.
LTIMindtree’s platform includes AI-based talent onboarding, operations support through its Talent Engage platform, learning via the Shoshin system, and structured handover mechanisms under its Transfer service.
LTIMindtree’s GCCaaS platform offers comprehensive services across the Build, Operate, Transform, and Transfer phases of establishing and running global capability centres. Build Services include Talent Solutions for setting up legal entities, ensuring compliance, and establishing infrastructure, with operational support in finance, accounting, taxation, IT, and workspace development. Operate Services provides program governance, delivery excellence, knowledge management, and transition services.
Transform offers industry-specific solutions and access to global AI studios and the BlueVerse Agentic AI Ecosystem to accelerate AI adoption and value realisation. Finally, Transfer ensures seamless transitions through structured talent migration, knowledge transfer, and change management.
India has seen a significant rise in GCCs, evolving from basic support units to strategic innovation hubs. The country hosts over 1,700 GCCs, employing 1.9 million professionals, and generating $64.6 billion in revenue.
As per EY’s ‘Future of GCCs in India - a vision 2030’ report published in June last year, it is estimated that the domestic GCC market size will reach $110 billion by the year 2030, led by software exports, which remain a key component of India's service exports. Projections estimate 2,200 to 2,500 GCCs by 2030, with over 2.8 million employees.
