
NIIT appoints Harsh Kundra as head of technology for NIIT Digital


NIIT Limited, a Skills & Talent development corporation, has appointed Harsh Kundra as the Head of Technology for NIIT Digital. In this role, he will lead the company’s digital technology initiatives and oversee the next phase of its technology development.
Kundra brings extensive experience in product engineering, enterprise architecture, and digital transformation. Before joining NIIT, he was the Chief Technology Officer at LEAD School, where he led the development of its educational technology infrastructure. He has also co-founded two technology ventures, including Tolexo Online and a B2B retail eCommerce platform.
Earlier in his career, he held leadership positions at Jabong, Meritnation, and Hindustan Times. At these organisations, he was involved in digital initiatives across the e-commerce, education, media, and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) sectors.

His new role will include building technology platforms to support NIIT’s learning solutions and strengthening the organisation’s technology roadmap. With experience across both startup and enterprise environments, Kundra is expected to contribute to NIIT’s efforts in adapting to new learning technologies and supporting the digital transformation of its services.

Kundra holds a master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction from the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University.
