Autodesk appoints VP for India and SAARC business

Design software firm Autodesk has appointed Kamolika Gupta Peres as the vice president for its India and SAARC business. In this role, Peres will lead the company’s growth and scaling efforts in the region, and strengthen Autodesk’s customer and partner ecosystem.
She will work closely with key stakeholders to drive strong execution and help expand Autodesk’s footprint by tapping into India’s business opportunities and growing its investments in public infrastructure.
“Peres' strong expertise in leading large-scale transformations, forging strategic partnerships, and delivering customer-centric growth will be instrumental as we accelerate our momentum in India,” said Haresh Khoobchandani, vice president, APAC & Japan at Autodesk.

“Under her leadership, we hope to empower even more Indian companies, entrepreneurs, and designers to drive more strategic outcomes through the power of data, design, and innovation.”
Kamolika has over two decades of experience in Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) sales and leadership roles across marquee technology companies including ServiceNow, Google, SAP, and IBM. He holds expertise in accelerating business growth, transforming go-to-market strategies, and building high-performing teams across the APAC region.
Prior to joining Autodesk, she was the group vice president and managing director for India and South Asia at ServiceNow where she redefined business verticals, expanded into the public sector, launched a skilling program with the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and inaugurated the India Innovation Centre.

Last month, Autodesk made another high profile appointment for its India region. The US-based company appointed Ashish Kumar Mittal as Director of the Public Sector for India and the SAARC region. The appointment came as the company aims to expand its engagement with government institutions and public sector initiatives in the region. Mittal brings over three decades of experience in the IT sector and has worked extensively with both public and private sector organisations throughout his career.
