Routematic appoints new engineering lead

Corporate mobility solutions provider Routematic has appointed Chaitanya Koduri as its new engineering lead. In this role, Koduri will lead the Bengaluru-based firm’s engineering and technology roadmap and deliver sustainable commute solutions. 

He has over 16 years of experience in software design, development. Koduri has also led engineering teams across global technology firms.Prior to joining Routematic, Chaitanya served as Senior Engineering Manager at Salesforce, where he led strategic product development and drove large-scale innovation focused on user experience. He has also worked in companies like Glance, Zeta, and VMware.

At Routemetic, he will be working to advance Routematic’s proprietary AI stack, scaling its fleet architecture and Command Centre operations, while strengthening its platform’s predictive and safety capabilities. Notably, Routematic serves over 350,000 employees across 300 enterprises in 23 Indian cities.

Earlier in May 2025, Routematic raised $40 million in Series C funding led by Fullerton Carbon Action Fund and Shift4Good to expand its Transport-as-a-Service (TaaS) offerings, accelerate EV fleet deployment, and invest in AI-led technology innovation. The company aims to establish city-level Routematic Operations Command Centres to provide round-the-clock oversight, real-time dispatching, and EV integration.
