Fulcrum Digital appoints new SVP for tech and innovation

Enterprise AI and digital transformation firm Fulcrum Digital has appointed Bhaskar Gandavabi as Senior Vice President – Technology and Innovation. Gandavabi will be based in the company’s New York City office.
In his new role, Bhaskar will lead Fulcrum Digital’s technology and innovation initiatives across global markets.
An industry veteran, Gandavabi has three decades of experience in IT services, having served in roles ranging from developer to CTO and CEO. In the past, he has worked with several organisations like AIG, Prudential, Lehman Brothers, Merrill Lynch, Standard & Poor’s, Reuters, and SiriusXM. He has expertise across domains including finance, insurance, media, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, education, and the public sector.

A serial entrepreneur, Bhaskar has led global engineering teams and co-founded multiple technology startups, focused on AI-powered learning, mobile platforms, and digital insurance solutions. He has experience in cloud computing, AI/ML, distributed systems, and enterprise-scale platforms. He is known for building high-performance global teams and driving innovation with impact.
Commenting on his appointment, Gandavabi said, “I am honoured to join Fulcrum Digital and look forward to working with the talented teams. Together, we will drive innovation, scale new solutions, and enhance value for our customers and partners.”
Earlier this year, Fulcrum Digital announced that it would scale its AI ecosystem to 10,000 AI agents by the end of 2025. The announcement was made at the company’s annual event, TANDEM 2025. The company is shifting its focus to Intelligence Amplification (IA), an approach designed to enhance human decision-making rather than replace it.

Fulcrum Digital’s AI R&D hub in India is at the core of this expansion, developing AI-driven solutions that integrate with enterprise systems to improve efficiency and business agility, the company said. As part of its growth strategy, the firm also plans to double its workforce to 3,000 employees.
