Airtel’s digital arm launches sovereign platform for telcos

Xtelify, a subsidiary of Bharti Airtel for digital assets and capabilities, has launched a sovereign, telco-grade platform. Called Airtel Cloud, it can handle 140 crore transactions per minute for Airtel’s own in India.
Airtel Cloud is hosted on sustainable data centres with generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) provisioning. It will be managed by 300 certified cloud experts, offering Infrastructure-as-a-Services (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), and advanced connectivity, guaranteeing secure migration, effortless scaling, lower costs, and no vendor lock-ins.
Additionally, Xtelify also launched an AI-powered software platform that will help telcos to deal with underlying complexity, improve customer experience, lower churn, and raise average revenue per user (ARPU). It comes with a converged data engine for AI-led insights and intelligence, a Workforce platform for real-time task streamlining, and an experience platform for managing every element of the customer journey for a telco.

Xtelify is partnering with leading telecom providers to deploy its AI-powered platforms across key markets. In Singapore, it will implement ‘Xtelify Work’ with Singtel to equip field teams with fleet optimization, automated task management, and real-time tracking to boost productivity. In the Philippines, Globe Telecom will adopt ‘Xtelify Serve’ to enhance customer experience through omni-channel service assurance and intelligent, data-driven operations.
Across 14 countries in Africa, Airtel will deploy Xtelify’s Data Engine, Work, and IQ platforms to support its 150,000-strong field team with market insights, fraud protection, and secure, real-time customer engagement.
“It is a very pivotal moment in our history as we take our world-class, home-grown platforms of Airtel Cloud and software solutions to businesses in India and telcos all over the world. We are privileged to have signed on partnerships with three top-tier companies already - Singtel, Globe Telecom and Airtel Africa,” said Gopal Vittal, Vice Chairman and MD ̶ Bharti Airtel.
