Anand Subbaraman appointed CEO of Icertis as Samir Bodas becomes Executive Chairman

Icertis, a software company that provides contract lifecycle management solutions, has announced a leadership transition. Anand Subbaraman has been appointed Chief Executive Officer, while outgoing CEO and co-founder Samir Bodas will take on the role of Executive Chairman.

During his 15-year tenure as CEO, Bodas led the company from startup phase to a major player in enterprise software, reaching nearly $350 million in annual recurring revenue. He also helped establish contracts as a core part of digital transformation strategies and built strategic partnerships with cloud providers and systems integrators.

Bodas will now continue to work closely with the leadership team in his new position, focusing on long-term strategy and governance.

Anand Subbaraman joined Icertis in 2023 as Chief Operating Officer. He has over 25 years of experience in enterprise technology, having previously held leadership roles at Oracle, BrowserStack, and Finastra. As COO, he oversaw core business operations and supported the company’s shift toward advanced AI capabilities.

In his new role, Subbaraman will focus on scaling the company’s AI-driven solutions and expanding the value of contracts as business-critical data assets.

Subbaraman earned an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, and also holds a B.Tech in Electronics and Computers from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli.
