
Mahindra Lifespace appoints new CTO


Listed real estate developer Mahindra Lifespace Developers Limited has named Parijat Dey as its Chief Technology Officer, with the appointment taking effect from 1 September. The company’s Board of Directors approved the decision on 28 August, following the recommendation of its Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
Dey, recognised as part of the firm’s senior management, brings more than 18 years of experience in digital transformation, enterprise technology and innovation. She began her career at Infosys Technologies after earning a degree in Electrical Engineering from NIT Jamshedpur and an MBA in Marketing from ISB Hyderabad.
Her career includes senior leadership roles at Viacom18 Media, where she oversaw enterprise technology and data engineering projects. This included the rollout of more than 25 enterprise applications and the development of a Big Data platform on Microsoft Azure. Since December 2020, she has been with PwC Acceleration Center India as Director – Head of AI, Technology, and Innovation, where she has led strategic artificial intelligence initiatives across seven global sites.

Mahindra Lifespace confirmed that Dey has no familial connections with any member of its Board. The appointment was formally approved by the Board on 28 August at 11:08 am IST through circulation.
In June, the company announced that it has been selected as the preferred developer for the redevelopment of a premium housing society in Mulund West, Mumbai. The project is expected to generate revenue of around ₹1,250 crore.
