Aurionpro to develop GenAI use cases for Sri Lanka-based DFCC Bank

Enterprise technology provider Aurionpro Solutions has announced a strategic partnership with Sri Lanka’s DFCC Bank. Under the partnership, Aurionpro will help the bank to develop and implement Predictive Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI (Gen AI) use cases aimed at enhancing its digital capabilities and competitive edge.
These AI-driven solutions will help banking operations, elevate customer engagement, and enable data-driven decision-making. Aurionpro will leverage its domain expertise in advanced technologies to develop scalable and customised solutions for DFCC Bank’s digital transformation journey.

“As we integrate AI across our operations, the purpose is clear - to reduce friction, sharpen our service delivery, and create banking experiences that feel intuitive, relevant, and human in an increasingly digital world. We are happy to be taking this step as part of our broader strategy to build a more responsive, insight-driven, and customer-centric bank,” said Thimal Perera, CEO of DFCC Bank.
In July, Aurionpro Solutions signed a new contract to provide its digital banking platform to a bank in Africa. This is the company’s first major project for its digital banking software in the region and supports its ongoing expansion in the Middle East and Africa (MEA). The agreement involves licensing Aurionpro’s omnichannel digital banking solution and includes long-term maintenance and support services.
The platform offers banking services across multiple digital channels and is designed for corporate banking needs. It enables secure access through various devices, supports domestic and international payments, and includes foreign exchange and transaction capabilities. The system is intended to improve the bank’s operational efficiency and service delivery.
