LTIMindtree partners with Shopify to launch AI CoE

 LTIMindtree has partnered with the commerce platform Shopify to set up an AI-based centre of excellence (CoE) for digital commerce. The CoE will be built on Shopify’s platform to develop digital commerce solutions that will help enterprises scale rapidly in the fast-evolving business environment. 

The platform is set to give enterprises a sharper competitive edge by enabling them to build advanced AI-driven commerce capabilities. Beyond powering smarter digital transactions, it will help organizations develop industry-specific accelerators to speed up go-to-market strategies.

A dedicated Centre of Excellence (CoE) will provide migration toolkits to ease the shift from legacy systems to modern platforms, minimizing disruption to business operations. The initiative also emphasizes talent transformation, with large-scale upskilling programs designed to equip employees with future-ready skills.

In parallel, the CoE will drive co-investments to build new integrations and capabilities, strengthening the ecosystem and ensuring enterprises are better prepared to innovate and compete in a rapidly changing digital marketplace.

In separate news, last month, LTIMindtree was selected by the Income Tax Department to modernise the country's Permanent Account Number (PAN) infrastructure under the new PAN 2.0 project. The project, listed on the government’s public procurement portal, involves upgrading the existing systems used for managing PAN and TAN records across India.
