GlobalLogic teams up with IRClass to accelerate AI integration across key industries

GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group company, has announced a partnership with IRClass Systems and Solutions Private Limited (ISSPL), formerly part of the Indian Register of Shipping. The collaboration aims to speed up digital transformation across several industries, including oil and gas, automotive, marine and ports, power, heavy industry, and construction.
The two companies will combine GlobalLogic’s experience in digital engineering and artificial intelligence with ISSPL’s background in inspection, certification, and regulatory compliance. The partnership will operate under a flexible delivery model involving referral, outsourcing, and joint project execution. This approach is intended to help industries implement secure and scalable digital solutions efficiently while reducing operational risks.
The companies plan to modernize legacy systems, enhance predictive maintenance, and use AI for better decision-making across physical infrastructure. The partnership will follow a Responsible AI framework to ensure client data remains secure and is not used for AI training. GlobalLogic’s VelocityAI platform will integrate AI and automation into client systems while maintaining compliance and data protection standards.
Piyush Jha, Group Vice-President and Managing Director - Asia-Pacific said, “For the Marine sector, our solutions can potentially enhance safety by preventing incidents like capsizing and saving lives. In Power, they can create more resilient grids and optimize energy consumption. In Construction, they can ensure safer worksites and more efficient project delivery.”
Shashi Nath Mishra, Chief Operating Officer, IRClass Systems and Solutions, said, “This partnership with GlobalLogic strengthens our digital transformation journey by complementing our legacy with AI-powered intelligence, agility, and software engineering excellence.”
