TechM, Crosscall partner to deliver AI-enabled solutions across North America

Tech Mahindra has joined hands with French rugged-device maker Crosscall to expand its AI-enabled enterprise mobility offerings across North America. The partnership aims to blend Tech Mahindra’s digital engineering and enterprise connectivity expertise with Crosscall’s mission-critical mobile hardware to target high-demand sectors like oil & gas, manufacturing, and telecommunications.
Under the collaboration, Tech Mahindra will integrate Crosscall’s rugged smartphones, accessories, and connectivity solutions into its portfolio of enterprise digital services. The partnership also includes device testing, certification, and market access through Tech Mahindra’s lab ecosystem and its carrier relationships in the U.S. market. The companies will work together with Quality One Wireless to accelerate Crosscall’s certification and distribution across major American telecom operators.
Beyond hardware integration, both firms plan to co-develop AI- and ML-driven applications optimised for Crosscall’s devices. These will support use cases such as predictive maintenance, field safety, and real-time decision-making—particularly for teams working in harsh or remote environments.

“The future of rugged devices lies in their ability to serve as intelligent enablers across some of the most challenging environmental conditions,” said Manish Mangal, President and Head of Americas Communication Business at Tech Mahindra. “This partnership combines Crosscall’s robust hardware with our expertise in certification, testing, and AI-driven application development to redefine enterprise mobility.”
The collaboration also has a strong go-to-market component. Tech Mahindra will leverage its enterprise relationships and managed services capabilities to help Crosscall expand its North American footprint. In return, Tech Mahindra gains a strategic technology partner skilled in resistance engineering and enterprise-grade device design.
For Crosscall, the partnership represents a significant entry point into the U.S., where ruggedised mobility solutions are seeing renewed demand amid growing investment in private 5G networks and industrial automation. “By combining our rugged devices with Tech Mahindra's digital expertise, we deliver mission-critical solutions that empower businesses and fuel growth across the U.S. and beyond,” said Nicolas Zibell, CEO of Crosscall.

The move aligns with Tech Mahindra’s broader push to deepen its presence in AI, industrial digitalisation, and connected ecosystem solutions. Crosscall, known for its durable, sustainable smartphones designed for extreme conditions, will also integrate with Tech Mahindra’s offerings in Factory 4.0, Private 5G, and device orchestration.
