Adani Group inks 3-year pact with Autodesk to digitise global infra projects

The Adani Group on Tuesday announced a three-year strategic partnership with Autodesk, the US-headquartered design & Make platform, to deploy Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and provide Building Information Modelling (BIM) advisory services across the conglomerate’s infrastructure portfolio. The collaboration aims to create a digitally connected, sustainable, and future-ready infrastructure ecosystem for Adani’s operations in India and overseas, the company said in a statement.
The alliance marks a pivotal step in Adani’s broader digital transformation initiative, ‘Parivartan’, which aims to reimagine how large-scale infrastructure projects are conceived, designed, and executed. Under the partnership, Adani will leverage Autodesk’s cloud-based design and construction solutions to centralise project data, improve transparency, and establish a single source of truth across its operations. This integrated approach is expected to enhance collaboration, accelerate decision-making, and improve overall efficiency across multiple infrastructure verticals.
Beyond technology deployment, the partnership will also focus on process standardisation, capability building, leadership workshops, partner enablement, and workforce upskilling, ensuring that the benefits of digital transformation extend throughout the value chain.

“This collaboration will leverage technology to unify teams, enhance project visibility, and drive faster, more informed decisions—ultimately enabling the efficient delivery of sustainable, high-quality infrastructure,” said K.S. Rao, CEO, Adani Infra India Ltd. Autodesk, which has been strengthening its presence in India’s design and construction ecosystem, sees this as a step toward aligning with the Viksit Bharat 2047 vision.
“Our partnership with Adani reinforces our shared goal of enabling a smarter, more sustainable infrastructure ecosystem that supports India’s long-term growth ambitions,” said Kamolika Gupta Peres, Vice President, India & SAARC, Autodesk.
This collaboration comes amid Adani Group’s accelerating digital transformation across its portfolio. Some of its recent initiatives include a multi-year cloud-first partnership with Google Cloud to modernise over 250 business applications, the development of a $15-billion AI and data centre hub in Visakhapatnam, and the expansion of AdaniConneX, a joint venture with EdgeConneX, to build 1 GW of data centre capacity by 2030.

The group has also launched Adani One, a consumer super-app, and set up a Digital Incubation Centre of Excellence (DICE) to drive automation, analytics, and digital twin technologies across its real estate and infrastructure projects.
