There have been multiple developments this week on the tech front. From TCS-SAP partnership to Salesforce India's growth, here is a list of the most important updates for a quick catch-up:
TCS, SAP sign 5-yr deal
Tata Consultancy Services has signed a five-year deal with SAP to drive enterprise-wide Cloud and generative AI transformation. Under this partnership, TCS will help SAP in streamlining its IT landscape, enabling seamless IT operations, and strengthening AI-led capabilities. This is expected to deliver faster development cycles, lower total cost of ownership, and greater alignment between IT and business goals.
The engagement will be based on four Centers of Excellence (CoE) for Generative AI, Business Technology Platform, Business Data Cloud, and Customer Experience.
The CoE for Generative AI will drive innovation to embed GenAI capabilities and features within SAP business processes, the CoE for Business Technology Platform is designed to enable faster development of next-gen features based on low-code, no-code solutions.
Zoho to integrate MapmyIndia’s location intelligence tools
MapmyIndia, and Zoho have announced an integration that brings MapmyIndia’s location-based tools into Zoho CRM. The collaboration enables users of Zoho’s customer relationship platform to access MapmyIndia’s Address Capture and Nearby Lead Finder features without leaving the CRM environment.
With the new features, Zoho CRM users can record accurate customer addresses through MapmyIndia’s database, which has been developed over several decades. Users can also view customer locations on a map, find possible leads in the surrounding area, and plan sales routes inside the CRM. These tools are designed to support sales operations by reducing manual address entry, improving field planning, and offering location-based context for customer outreach.
Xoriant buys TestDevLab

ChrysCapital-backed digital engineering firm Xoriant, on Tuesday, said it acquired Latvia-based software quality specialist TestDevLab. The deal — Xoriant’s fourth acquisition in three years — strengthens the firm’s engineering footprint in Europe and adds specialised quality-assurance capabilities aimed at testing AI and agentic systems.
The acquisition brings TestDevLab’s Baltic and Macedonian delivery centres into Xoriant’s network, which now spans 28 offices across India, the US and Europe. TestDevLab, founded 14 years ago, employs more than 500 engineers and is known for work in test automation, performance testing, multimedia analysis, accessibility and UX testing. Its toolset includes proprietary offerings such as Loadero and the AI-driven Barko agent.
Salesforce India posts 47% growth
Salesforce India reported a 47% year-over-year jump in revenue to ₹13,384.5 crore for the financial year ending 31 March 2025, according to filings with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. The company said it is now ramping up its focus on agentic, AI-driven transformation as enterprise adoption of its Agentforce platform moves from pilot projects to large-scale deployments.
India remains one of Salesforce’s fastest-growing global markets, supported by a workforce of more than 14,000 employees across Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Pune, and Jaipur. Alongside expanding its customer base and partner network, the company is also investing heavily in talent development, with its skilling initiatives reaching over 75,000 learners in 2025. The Indian Trailblazer community has crossed 3.9 million members, one of the largest worldwide.
Wipro ties up with IISc
Wipro Ltd, India’s fourth-largest IT services company, has entered into a strategic alliance with the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and the Foundation for Science Innovation and Development (FSID) to accelerate research in frontier technologies, including agentic and embodied AI, quantum computing and quantum-safe security. The company announced the partnership in an exchange filing on Wednesday.
The initiative marks one of Wipro’s most significant academic collaborations in recent years as global IT firms race to build capabilities in next-generation AI and secure digital systems.
Under the agreement, Wipro and IISc will roll out a joint research programme spanning advanced AI models, secure digital infrastructure, quantum technologies and autonomous network systems.
