Chennai-based global technology company Zoho expanded its finance product portfolio on Tuesday with the launch of Zoho Billing Enterprise Edition, an advanced billing platform for large companies, and Zoho Spend, a unified spend management solution that consolidates payroll, procurement, travel, accounts payable, and employee expenses under a single system. The company said the launches address the growing need for modern monetisation models and centralised spend controls as enterprises scale operations and adopt more agile financial architectures.

“With businesses increasingly looking for ways to operate with full financial visibility, improve time-to-market, and make smarter decisions, billing and spend management can no longer be an afterthought,” said Sivaramakrishnan Iswaran, Global Head of Zoho Finance and Operations Business Unit and CEO of Zoho Payment Technologies. 

Iswaran added that Zoho’s new offerings are designed to turn billing operations into a revenue engine and transform spend management into a strategic savings opportunity, while helping businesses launch products faster, experiment with pricing and gain deeper insights into company-wide spend, including payroll.

Zoho Billing Enterprise Edition is aimed at companies operating dynamic pricing and consumption-based models where customers expect on-demand flexibility. According to Zoho, the solution supports a wide range of charging structures such as standard, volume-based, tiered and usage-led billing, and can manage complex pricing contracts at scale. 

The platform supports 15 country-specific editions aligned with regional tax regulations, including GST in India, and offers e-invoicing features in nine markets, among them India, Germany and Saudi Arabia. The system automates collection workflows to reduce Days Sales Outstanding, enables lifecycle management of customer subscriptions from trials to retention and provides revenue recognition capabilities compliant with IFRS 15 and ASC 606 to accelerate month-end closing and provide real-time financial visibility.

Zoho Spend, positioned as a first-of-its-kind platform that includes payroll within a comprehensive spend suite, is designed to help finance leaders curb maverick spending, improve governance and gain consolidated visibility of company expenses. The solution digitises sourcing-to-payment functions, including vendor onboarding, RFQs, purchase requisitions, purchase orders and billing. Its accounts payable automation offers OCR-based bill capture, approval routing, batch payments and reconciliation, while vendor and category-level insights are aimed at improving procurement efficiency and negotiation leverage.

In India, the payroll module automates statutory compliance across EPF, ESI, TDS, Professional Tax and Labour Welfare Fund requirements. The platform also enables policy-driven corporate travel booking and automates the expense reimbursement lifecycle from receipt capture to disbursement.
