ideazmeet launches dotsupply to address global manufacturing sourcing gaps
B2B manufacturing startup ideazmeet has launched dotsupply, a sourcing platform aimed at helping international manufacturers manage and diversify their supply chains. The platform is designed for buyers in the United States, the United Kingdom, and the European Union who source materials and products from manufacturers in India.
The platform operates as ideazmeet’s sourcing arm, focusing on supplier discovery and execution within a single system. It targets long-standing issues in global procurement, including limited visibility into supplier performance, fragmented vendor management, and gaps between sourcing and delivery. The platform supports sourcing of raw materials, components, engineered products, and finished goods.
The system is built on ideazmeet’s internal matching technology and is supported by local sourcing teams based in India. It provides centralized oversight of supplier verification, certifications, pricing discussions, quality checks, request-for-quotation management, and order tracking. By combining these functions, dotsupply is positioned to reduce the need for buyers to work with multiple intermediaries and logistics partners. The initial focus is on industrial manufacturing, electronics, machinery, plastics, chemicals, and engineering-driven supply chains.
The launch comes at a time when companies are reassessing sourcing strategies due to concentration risks in global supply chains. Global procurement spending is estimated at more than $8 trillion annually, and manufacturers are increasingly seeking alternatives to single-country sourcing models. India has emerged as a key option as production capacity expands and export demand grows. However, many buyers continue to face challenges related to inconsistent quality standards, pricing opacity, and limited execution control.
Kshitij Tiwari, Founder & CEO, ideazmeet, said, “With dotsupply, we are extending ideazmeet beyond discovery into execution. By combining our high-intent matching technology with dedicated sourcing managers on the ground, we are giving buyers a single, accountable partner to manage the entire sourcing lifecycle, from identifying and vetting suppliers to negotiating pricing, managing work orders, and coordinating logistics. This allows global manufacturers to scale sourcing from India with far greater confidence, visibility, and speed.”
