IT firm Aurionpro Solutions has secured a data centre infrastructure expansion project from IDBI Bank, marking its first engagement with the state-owned lender and adding a new strategic banking client to its portfolio.

The project involves a comprehensive upgrade of IDBI Bank’s existing data centre, covering electrical systems, cooling, physical security and allied MEP infrastructure. The work will be executed in a live production environment, with Aurionpro committing to complete the expansion and migration without disrupting ongoing operations or impacting business continuity.

The mandate strengthens Aurionpro’s positioning in mission-critical digital infrastructure for the banking and financial services sector, where uptime and regulatory compliance are key. The company said it will deploy senior design and execution specialists who will work closely with the bank’s operations and head office teams to ensure zero downtime during the transition.

The IDBI Bank deal comes amid sustained deal momentum for Aurionpro across banking technology and infrastructure. In recent quarters, the company has won multiple domestic and overseas mandates, including digital banking platform deployments for banks in South Asia and Southeast Asia, modernisation programmes for global lenders through its subsidiary Integro Technologies, and large data centre design-and-build projects for enterprise and colocation players in India.

Aurionpro has also been sharpening its BFSI software portfolio. In January, Aurionpro Solutions has won a major contract with CSB Bank, strengthening its position in India's banking technology sector. Last year, it acquired fintech firm Fintra Software to strengthen its trade finance and transaction banking offerings, complementing its iCashpro platform and enterprise payments stack. The company has said it sees growing demand from banks for integrated platforms that combine core transaction systems with analytics, automation and AI-led capabilities.

Commenting on the IDBI Bank win, Bhaskar Bhattacharya, executive vice-president for enterprise businesses at Aurionpro, said the mandate reflects the trust financial institutions place in the company’s ability to deliver complex infrastructure upgrades without disrupting live environments. He added that beyond infrastructure, Aurionpro is exploring opportunities to support banks’ broader digital and AI-led transformation initiatives.
