Flipkart-owned fashion and lifestyle marketplace Myntra has appointed Pramod Adiddam as its chief technology officer (CTO), strengthening its senior leadership as the company scales its platform and expands into quick commerce.

Adiddam will oversee Myntra’s overall technology strategy, including platform innovation, long-term scalability and engineering capabilities to support the company’s growth. He will report to Myntra chief executive officer Nandita Sinha.

The appointment comes nearly a year after Myntra’s former chief technology and product officer, Raghu Krishnananda, stepped down in April 2025, after a five-year stint.

Adiddam brings over two decades of experience in building and operating large consumer-facing platforms. He has previously held senior engineering leadership roles at Google and San Francisco-headquartered Instacart, where he led global teams across platform development, marketplace expansion and product innovation. His experience includes architecting large-scale commerce systems and scaling multi-billion-dollar marketplace engines.

“Technology underpins Myntra’s ability to deliver a simple and intuitive customer experience to millions of shoppers,” Sinha said. “As Myntra continues to grow in scale and depth of offerings, Pramod’s expertise in building and operating large, global platforms will be critical as we strengthen our technology foundations at scale.”

Adiddam said Myntra had built a strong technology platform with a focus on rigour, scale and customer orientation, and that his focus would be on deepening the company’s overall tech capabilities to support long-term growth.
The CTO appointment marks Myntra’s second senior leadership hire this year. Last month, the company appointed Ritesh Mishra as senior vice-president and head of category and revenue.

The leadership changes come amid a sharp improvement in the company’s financial performance. Myntra reported a nearly 18-fold jump in net profit to ₹548 crore in FY25, compared with ₹31 crore in the previous fiscal year. Revenue from operations rose 18% year-on-year, from ₹ 5,122 crore in FY24 to ₹ 6,043 crore in FY25.

Founded in 2007 and acquired by Flipkart in 2014, Myntra has also been stepping up its quick commerce push. After piloting its rapid delivery service, M-Now, in Bengaluru in late 2024, last week, the company expanded the offering to cities including Patna, Jaipur, Lucknow and Ahmedabad.

Myntra now operates quick commerce services across 10 Indian cities, delivering select apparel from its catalogue within 30 minutes to two hours through over 87 dark stores. The company has said that nearly 70% of its new customers come from non-metro markets, underscoring its focus on expansion beyond India’s largest cities.
