Invincible Ocean brings hybrid blockchain to BFSI, Govt; Targets 500 deployments by FY27

Deeptech firm Invincible Ocean on Thursday announced the launch of what it claims is one of India’s first hybrid blockchain platforms aimed at strengthening accountability and auditability across regulated sectors such as banking, financial services, fintech and government.

The platform, branded Invincible Blockchain, is positioned as a trust infrastructure layer that enables end-to-end traceability, tamper-proof audit trails and compliance-ready record management. The Gurgaon-based company said it has already onboarded more than 20 enterprise customers and is in discussions with leading banks, fintech firms and government agencies. The hybrid architecture combines a private, permissioned Layer-1 blockchain for regulated operations with a public-compatible Layer-2 network designed for scale and interoperability. The structure allows enterprises to maintain control over sensitive data while enabling external verification without exposing confidential information.

Invincible Ocean said the platform is designed to address persistent governance challenges despite large-scale digitisation in India’s public and financial systems. Citing industry estimates, the company said that 30–40% of compliance breaches in regulated sectors are linked to weak auditability and fragmented record-keeping systems.

The solution is built for high-trust use cases, including land and asset registries, welfare and subsidy distribution, electoral systems, governance workflows, and institutional compliance reporting frameworks.
