Wipro, Harness partner to streamline AI software delivery for enterprises

Wipro, an IT services provider, and Harness, the AI Software Delivery Platform company,  have announced a strategic collaboration focused on AI-native software delivery for global enterprises. The partnership brings together Wipro’s agent-based delivery platform, WEGA, and the Harness AI Software Delivery Platform to help companies manage software development and release processes with more automation and control.

The move comes as enterprises expand their use of AI but continue to deal with fragmented toolchains and manual workflows across software delivery. That has made it harder for large organisations to maintain speed while also handling governance, release management, and operational risk.

Under the collaboration, Wipro will combine its consulting and delivery services with Harness’ platform for software delivery management. The companies said the combined offering is intended to support tasks after code is written, including build, test, deployment, release management, feature controls, incident response, and cloud cost oversight.

WEGA is part of Wipro’s broader Wipro Intelligence portfolio of AI-led platforms and services. By linking it with Harness, the two companies aim to give enterprises a more unified way to manage software environments, reduce manual work, and lower deployment risk.

The partnership reflects a broader shift in enterprise technology, where companies are looking beyond AI coding tools and focusing on the operational layer needed to safely and at scale move software into production. As AI accelerates development, the processes around release, reliability, and governance are becoming more important.

Wipro and Harness said the collaboration is designed to help enterprises modernise software delivery, improve visibility into performance and risk, and manage costs alongside reliability. The focus is on building a delivery model that supports faster software releases without losing oversight in complex enterprise environments.
