ServiceNow appoints Kulmeet Bawa to head India, SAARC operations

US-based cloud software firm ServiceNow has appointed Kulmeet Bawa as managing director and group vice president for India and SAARC, as the enterprise software firm sharpens its regional growth strategy in one of its fastest-expanding markets.
Bawa, who will assume the role from April 6, will be based in New Delhi and lead growth initiatives, customer engagement, and the company’s digital transformation agenda across India and the SAARC region.
He joins ServiceNow from SAP, where he most recently served as global chief revenue officer, overseeing worldwide revenue strategy and execution. Prior to that, he held leadership roles as president and managing director of SAP India and led South Asia operations at Adobe.

The appointment comes as ServiceNow looks to deepen its enterprise footprint in India, which it increasingly views as a strategic hub not just for regional expansion but also for global growth.
“India is more than a growth market for ServiceNow—it is a critical engine for our global ambitions,” said Adrian Johnston, president, Asia Pacific at ServiceNow, adding that Bawa’s blend of global revenue leadership and regional experience positions him to drive the next phase of growth.
Bawa brings over two decades of experience in enterprise technology and SaaS, alongside an earlier 12-year stint as a cavalry officer in the Indian Army—an experience he has credited with shaping his leadership style around discipline and strategic decision-making.
“India sits right at the heart of ServiceNow’s mission,” Bawa said, adding that he aims to deepen customer partnerships and help enterprises unlock greater value from the platform.

The leadership change underscores the growing importance of India and the broader SAARC region for global SaaS firms, as enterprises accelerate digital transformation and automation initiatives. ServiceNow has been expanding its presence in the region, banking on rising demand for workflow automation, cloud platforms, and AI-led enterprise solutions.
