Sasken opens Hyderabad CoE to expand product engineering, 5G capabilities
Sasken Technologies, a product engineering and digital transformation services provider, has opened a Center of Excellence (CoE) in Hyderabad, expanding its delivery operations in India and deepening ties with chipset partners, including Qualcomm and their original equipment manufacturers.
The facility will work across connected devices, 5G platforms, IoT, embedded systems, and digital product engineering. Sasken said the center is meant to cut down engineering cycle times and support product development for global clients in sectors such as automotive, satellite communication, industrial, and smart devices.
Sasken has appointed Nirmala Datla, its Chief Data Science and Engineering Officer, as Site Leader for the Hyderabad CoE. She will oversee delivery operations, capability building, and hiring at the location.
The company plans to bring on more than 100 professionals in the near term. Open roles will span semiconductors, automotive, original design manufacturing, and data science and engineering, all tied to supporting advanced engineering work for international clients.
The company did not disclose the investment size for the new center or a specific timeline for reaching full hiring capacity.
“The Hyderabad CoE represents a strategic investment to support the growing demand for Sasken’s capabilities in product engineering and digital transformation,” said Nirmala Datla, Chief Data Science and Engineering Officer, Sasken Technologies.
