HCLTech signs multi-year deal with DP World Tour to rebuild its digital infrastructure
HCLTech, a global technology company, has entered a multi-year technology partnership with the DP World Tour, under which it will rebuild and manage the Tour's digital platforms, including its website and mobile app.
Under the agreement, HCLTech takes on the role of Official Digital Experience Partner, tasked with redesigning how the Tour delivers content to fans, broadcasters, players, and commercial partners. The scope covers web and mobile platform development, experience design, data infrastructure, and large-scale system transformation.
The Tour operates across multiple geographies and time zones, where real-time content delivery and device compatibility are operational requirements rather than enhancements. The new platforms are expected to support live content access, in-depth statistics, and personalized content across different markets.
Beyond the technology contract, HCLTech will also function as an Official Marketing Partner, with on-site presence at five Tour events per season and associated digital and hospitality activations.
Speaking about the partnership, Jill Kouri, Chief Marketing Officer, HCLTech, said, “We’re excited to be involved in a digital transformation program that will make it easier for fans to discover, analyze and share the moments that matter. From a partnership perspective, the collaboration further amplifies HCLTech’s global brand presence, expanding our reach to diverse international audiences, primarily in Europe,” she added.
“As we continue to elevate our digital ambition, we selected HCLTech for its deep engineering heritage, proven expertise in building large-scale, always-on digital platforms and its ability to translate technology into meaningful fan experiences. said Michael Cole, Chief Technology Officer, DP World Tour.
