Indian IT major Tata Consultancy Services has partnered with Rezolve Ai to jointly develop and scale agentic AI-led commerce solutions for global retailers, marking the Indian IT major’s formal entry into the fast-emerging agentic commerce segment.

The companies said the partnership will allow retail enterprises to embed AI agents directly into core commerce workflows, spanning conversational commerce, intelligent product discovery and AI-driven checkout experiences. Under the agreement, TCS will integrate and deploy Rezolve Ai’s proprietary commerce platform, brainpowa™, for enterprise customers globally.

The collaboration comes as IT services firms accelerate investments in generative and agentic AI capabilities amid rising enterprise demand for automation-led digital transformation. Agentic AI systems are designed to independently execute tasks, make decisions and automate workflows with limited human intervention, and are increasingly emerging as a new growth area for global technology vendors.

Daniel M. Wagner, CEO of Rezolve Ai, called the partnership a “major commercial milestone” that would help accelerate enterprise-scale adoption of AI-powered commerce infrastructure globally. Shekar Krishnan, Head of Retail, UK and Europe at TCS, said enterprises were increasingly seeking AI solutions that deliver “measurable business outcomes at scale”. He added that the collaboration would combine TCS’ global transformation capabilities with production-grade AI commerce platforms.

The companies said the solutions will also be showcased across TCS’ Pace Port innovation centres globally, allowing retailers to test AI-led commerce deployments in enterprise environments.

The partnership comes shortly after TCS reported a steady performance for the March quarter despite ongoing macroeconomic uncertainty in key global markets. For Q4 FY26, TCS reported consolidated revenue of ₹64,479 crore, up 3.5% year-on-year, while net profit rose 8.7% to ₹12,434 crore. The company reported strong deal momentum during the quarter, with total contract value (TCV) at $13.2 billion, supported by continued enterprise spending on cloud, AI and digital transformation initiatives.

TCS has been steadily expanding its AI ecosystem through internal platforms, partnerships and industry-specific AI deployments as global clients move from experimentation to scaled implementation. The company has previously indicated that AI-led transformation, automation and platform modernisation are expected to become major long-term growth drivers across sectors, including retail, banking, manufacturing and telecom.

The Rezolve Ai partnership also reflects how Indian IT services companies are increasingly positioning themselves not only as AI implementation partners, but as strategic ecosystem players building industry-focused AI infrastructure and platforms for enterprise customers.
