Tata Comm invests in AI-ready India-Singapore digital corridor, strengthens leadership bench

Tata Communications is expanding its digital infrastructure between India and Singapore through new subsea cable investments, as the telecom major looks to strengthen connectivity for artificial intelligence (AI), cloud computing and data centre workloads across Asia.
The company said it is enhancing its Tata Global Network (TGN) by investing in new subsea cable infrastructure linking Mumbai, Chennai and Singapore. The expanded network is designed to deliver higher-capacity, low-latency and secure connectivity for enterprises as AI adoption accelerates across the region.
The investments come amid surging demand for AI-ready digital infrastructure, with hyperscalers, cloud providers and enterprises requiring resilient cross-border connectivity to support large-scale AI training, inference and data-intensive applications.
