Tirath Kamdar Joins Games2Win's Board Of Advisors

VC-funded online gaming firm Games2Win has roped in Tirath Kamdar to its board of advisors. His mandate will involve working closely with the Games2Win team with a specific focus on Appucino, a location-based mobile social platform.

Presently, he is also the director of marketing at CraftsVilla, an e-commerce portal dealing with Indian handicrafts item floated by ex-Nexus Venture Partners executive Manoj Gupta.

Alok Kejriwal, founder and CEO, Games2Win, said, "Our aim is to make Games2Win and Appucino the new global paradigm of casual gaming. We are investing in content, technology and people to make this happen. Kamdar brings a street view of what it takes to make a global and consumer friendly product platform that syncs engagement with location. With his experience and our gaming expertise, we will make Appucino the new world standard for location-based engagement gaming."

An alumnus of Kellogg School of Management, previously, Kamdar has also been an entrepreneur-in- residence at Lightbank, an incubator whose portfolio companies included Groupon, InnerWorkings and Echo Global. Earlier he has also worked with Bank One, Mahendra Brothers and Gemeralds.

Games2Win raised $6 million in Series B financing from Clearstone Venture Partners and Silicon Valley Bank (SVB India Capital Partners) last year in March.
