Unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014, Lenovo has now launched the S860 phablet in the Indian market. The device runs on the Android operating system and comes with a mammoth 4,000mAh battery, which is a lot for a smartphone/phablet (at least on paper). The phablet has been priced at Rs 21,499 and will be made available for purchase later this week.
In addition, home grown manufacturer Lava has further expanded its Ivory range of tablets with the launch of IvoryS. The tablet joins the ranks of E-Tab Ivory, which Lava had launched last year, and is available for purchase for a price of Rs 8,499.

The dimensions of the device are 149.5mm x 77mm x 10.3mm and its weight is 190gm. The company has provided a 4,000mAh battery in the device, which it claims will provide up to 43 (2G) and 24 (3G) hours of talk time and 40 (2G) and 28.5 (3G) days of standby time. It will be available in titanium colour, courtesy its brushed unibody metal exterior.
