US-based workforce management software and services company Kronos has partnered with German enterprise software and solutions provider SAP to resell its workforce management solution named Workforce Dimensions.

The solution, which will be sold under the brand SAP Time Management by Kronos, will integrate SAP’s human capital management (HCM) solution capabilities, the company said in a statement.

“SAP Time Management by Kronos offers unique and innovative capabilities that will help SAP customers with complex workforce needs to reimagine scheduling, timekeeping, leave management and regulatory compliance,” Stephen Spears, chief revenue officer, SAP SuccessFactors, said.

He added that one of the benefits the solution offers is connected and localised human resource (HR) processes.

The solution, which is a multi-tenant cloud solution, combines artificial intelligence and machine learning along with embedded analytics to make predictive recommendations for customers’ users and helps reduce the time-consuming burden of routine tasks.

SAP claims that the deployment of the solution is also accelerated by 30% as it leverages Kronos Paragon methodology.

Both the companies further said that they plan to expand their strategic collaboration by supporting joint research in the areas of analytics, data science and artificial intelligence in order to identify future opportunities to improve workforce efficiency and employee experience for customers.

“SAP’s influence with large, multinational customers is unparalleled and will allow Kronos to build on its substantial market leadership, delivering our products and services to an even broader global audience. In return, SAP customers will benefit from our continued investments in innovation to reimagine the future of work, while achieving a hard-dollar return that can be reinvested in human capital management strategy,” Chris Todd, president, Kronos, said.
