“In such uncertain and challenging times, this will allow sellers to conduct faster deliveries or expedite last-mile delivery to enhance customer experience and maintain profitable business continuity,” Saahil Goel, co-founder and CEO, Shiprocket, said.

While there will be no limit on weight or extra charges for returns, the deliveries will be made only within an 8-km radius of partner stores, the company said.

“This partnership is a combined offering of technology and logistics service through omnichannel, enabling and empowering retailers, hypermarkets (and) pharmacies having multiple outlets to service customers instantly,” Abhishek Bansal, CEO of Shadowfax, said.

Goel founded Shiprocket with Gautam Kapoor in 2016. The company works with micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) that operate in the ecommerce sector. The company claims to provide shipments in around 220 countries, have 1.5 lakh sellers on board and work with 15 courier partners.
