Leveraging technology to enable a frictionless journey, instant gratification and delivering an omnichannel experience to its customers are top priority in the digital agenda for Gurugram-based insurance company Max Life Insurance.
In a recent interview with TechCircle, executive vice president and the chief technology officer Suhail Ghai said, "We have built a state-of-the-art customer on-boarding system, which has helped us drastically in reducing our policy issuance time from 30-40 odd minutes to less than 10 minutes."
Ghai also spoke about the insurance firm’s plans to create a data mart like Data Lake, which can house all the data at various touch points.
Prior to Max Life, Ghai was with PepsiCo as CIO for almost 10 years and was responsible for leading the IT (information technology) team at PepsiCo India region. In his role, he also managed business partner relationships and was accountable for all aspects of business solutions, technology delivery and IT spends across multiple commercial units.
