Bengaluru-based information technology (IT) services firm Wipro has rolled out a programme for innovative products and platforms.
Dubbed global channel partner programme, the initiative is aimed at accelerating global partnerships. It is open for IT services firms, products, consulting and reseller organisations.
“The programme offers partners an opportunity to leverage Wipro’s best-of-breed products and open new revenue streams for themselves,” Mandar Vanarse, general manager (GM), Intellectual Property Unit, Wipro, said in a statement.
According to the IT services major, its products, such as remote working, security and supply chain management solutions, have helped companies cope with the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. It hopes the programme will help it identify more business opportunities.
The Covid-19 pandemic has derailed business plans across the globe. Wipro, like its peers Infosys and Tata Consultancy Services, has reserved its quarterly earnings guidance for the first quarter of the current financial year.
The country’s fourth-largest information technology (IT) services company by revenues closed the final quarter of the financial year 2019-2020 with 4.7% year-on-year growth in gross revenues.
Last month, Wipro Group and the philanthropic foundation of its promoter Azim Premji committed Rs 1,125 crore to help fight the ongoing pandemic.
Wipro has also launched a Microsoft business unit to accelerate cloud adoption and digital transformation for its customers.
