Venture capital firm 100X.VC has announced its Class 02 investments in nine seed-stage startups from various sectors including agritech, automotive, blockchain, edtech and fintech.

100X.VC announced the names of the startups during the online VC pitch day, held on September 18.

These startups were funded through India Simple Agreement for Future Equity notes (iSAFE), an alternative to a convertible security note, according to a statement. The company did not provide other details of the latest investments.

Over 4,500 startups pitched during the VC Pitch day, of which nine were shortlisted for the investment, according to the statement.

Prior to the VC Pitch Day, Class 02 startups attended master classes by industry experts, successful founders, and preparation sessions, organised by the 100X.VC team.

Entrepreneur-turned-angel investor Sanjay Mehta announced the launch of 100X.VC, his new venture capital firm, in July last year. At the time of launch, the firm said it would invest in the range of Rs 25 lakh- Rs 1 crore in early stage startups. 

The Mumbai-based firm has a five-member team including Mehta as founder and partner, Ninad Karpe, partner, Yagnesh Sanghrajka, CFO, Shashank Randev, founder VC and Vatsal Kanakiya, CTO. Applications for the Class 02 were called in December last year.

Mindpeers: Founded by Kanika Agarwal in January this year, Mindpeers is a health-tech platform which provides real-time self-care diagnosis and clinical-based assistance. It also allows individuals and employers to understand behavioural data. The startup is based out of Delhi.

Pracify: Set up by Shivam Malhotra in 2019, Pracify is a human resource (HR) tech marketplace. It  helps companies scale by connecting them to a network of selected and trained gig workers who perform simple task-based jobs on a pay-per-performance system. Pracify is headquartered in Delhi.

BatteryPool: Pune headquartered BatteryPool, established in 2018 by Ashwin Shankar, is an electric vehicle-as-a-service startup that is developing plug and play products - software-as-a-service (SaaS) and application programming interface (API) solutions to foster mass adoption of electric 2 wheelers (2W) in India by offering an environmentally sustainable and financially viable alternative to traditional micromobility 2W options.

Jetsons Robotics: Set up by Rajat Aggarwal, Abhinav Pandey, and Jatin Sharma in 2017, Noida-based Jetsons Robotics is a robotics startup manufacturing 2-axis, fully autonomous, water-free, rooftop solar panel cleaning robots to benefit engineering, procurement and construction (EPCs) customers with extra generation worth $4000/annum/MW.

Ava: Founded by Lea Von Bidder, Pascal Koenig, and Peter Stein, Zurich and San Francisco-based Ava is a healthcare app that helps women with chronic conditions like PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) via its deep-tech enabled programmes.

SAWO Labs: It is a customer-centric, standardised and device-based secure authentication solution for apps and websites, which removes the need for password authentications and one-time passwords (OTPs). It is based out of Mumbai.

Our Eye.ai: Founded in August 2020 by Sourav Sanyal, Agniswar Paul, Saurabh Ghanekar, and Miran Junaidi, Bengaluru headquartered Our Eye.ai is an artificial intelligence (AI) solution for food and beverages (F&B) enterprises and cloud kitchens to monitor standard operating procedures to ensure quality controls and accelerate real-time efficiency from a decision to action.

SharedPro: Founded by Sujit Singh and Vikas Agrawal in 2018, SharedPro is a web marketplace connecting companies to identify and co-hire talent on sharing, streamlined through their talent acquisition platform. It is based out of Vadodara.

Fyllo: It is an agritech startup that uses an IoT (internet of things) device to capture the environmental factors of a piece of agricultural land. It offers farmers with accurate and timely information for irrigation, fertigation, harvesting, soil composition, infestation risks, and pesticide levels.
