Maurices, the Duluth, Minnesota based fashion apparel retail chain, has picked Tata Consultancy Services to help it create a new flexible and scalable information technology (IT)  landscape.

As part of the deal, Mumbai based IT services giant TCS will help Maurices’  IT ecosystem optimize more than 200 existing applications and software components for the next 17 months of their transformational journey.

With the new solutions, Maurices will be enabled to strategize, create and operationalize the new scalable greenfield architecture (architecture developed from scratch) for the underlying IT infrastructure, security layer, and a new application stack, according to a statement.
