Fintech platform Paytm on Monday said that its buy now-pay later service or Paytm postpaid has reached seven million customers. The company also announced that it is enabling the pay later services to Android Mini App Store and POS (point of sale) devices. The move is expected to help shoppers to buy on credit. Paytm said that postpaid is available in three different slabs of a credit limit. The first slab offers a credit limit of up to Rs. 20,000, while the other two let customers use credit from Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 1,00,000 in monthly spends with no additional convenience charges. The feature can be availed almost anywhere starting from groceries at neighbourhood kirana stores to high value shopping at retail chains such as Reliance Fresh, Haldiram, Apollo Pharmacy, Croma, Shopper’s Stop among others among others, according to a statement.

Dell upgrades PowerEdge and OpenManage portfolio 

Dell Technologies has recently introduced new capabilities across its Dell EMC PowerEdge server and OpenManage solutions portfolio, according to a statement. Moreover, Dell Technologies has also collaborated with San Francisco based software maker Splunk to accelerate the insights-driven IT operations journey by uncovering the hidden insights in data. The new launches include PowerEdge XE7100 servers, which have been upgraded  to offer the industry’s highest-density in a standard depth rack 5U storage server with flexible configuration options engineered for intelligent video analytics, media-streaming and object storage. The upgraded OpenManage systems portfolio will reduce complexity with full-stack management capabilities. OpenManage Integration for VMware vCenter will deliver a seamless systems management experience at full speed from the edge to the hybrid-cloud. Further, OpenManage Enterprise FlexSelect architecture will help in automating and simplifying server lifecycle tasks to scale operations rapidly. Additionally, with one interface, users will be able to prevent downtime through OpenManage Enterprise SupportAssist.

Visa partners with DigitSecure and HDFC Bank to deploy tap to phone card acceptance

Payments services company Visa on Monday announced its partnership with fintech services provider DigitSecure and Mumbai based HDFC bank to enable payment card industry (PCI) certified tap to phone card acceptance solution. DeliveryPlus is the first merchant to go live with the feature, according to a statement. This solution enables merchants to accept contactless card payments through an app on their NFC-enabled Android smartphones, without needing dedicated card acceptance devices. The technology is expected to significantly lower the operational costs for financial institutions by migrating merchant onboarding, account provisioning and security to PCI certified payment acceptance cloud.

One97 Communications operated offline to online marketplace Paytm Mall announced its two-week long Diwali Special Maha Shopping Festival from November 3 to November 16. This festive season, Paytm Mall has tied up with over 5000 brands and leading banks to offer the best deals and discounts to customers on over 10 lakh products. Bengaluru-based Inito clears US FDA regulations to launch fertility monitor

Y-Combinator backed medical technology startup Inito claims to  be the first designed, engineered and manufactured in India home diagnostic device to clear United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulatory compliance for its fertility monitor. This milestone will help the startup launch the product in the US, and also get access to countries that have signed the Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) with the FDA, according to a statement. The fertility monitor is a small device that enables smartphones to perform lab-grade fertility diagnostic tests at home. By measuring two fertility hormones in urine -  estrogen and Luteinizing Hormone (LH) – along with AI (artificial intelligence) based data analytics in the App, it tracks the cycle variations for every individual user, giving accurate results unique to every woman’s body.
