Bengaluru-based co-living services provider Zolo has launched a technology enabled co-living property investment platform, called Zeassetz.

The platform, as per a statement, looks to offer a hassle-free investment experience with tech-driven property management services. It claims to provide a high rental yield -- 1.5X to 2X of market value -- as well as end-to-end tenant management.

“The response to the initial introduction of the concept has been very encouraging. Since then, we have already sold inventories up to Rs 60 crore,” Sikri said. The statement did not mention when the concept was introduced, but Sikri told TechCircle that the company "started the pilot project four months ago".

Zeassetz, the statement said, will manage the property, maintenance, tenant hunting, and collection of rentals, including initial investment support and exit.

“The response to the initial introduction of the concept has been very encouraging. Since then, we have already sold inventories up to Rs 60 crore,” Sikri said. The statement did not mention when the concept was introduced, and the company did not respond to TechCircle’s queries on the same.

Zolo looks to capitalise on the Indian real estate sector. It says the sector has been stagnant for the past 15 years, with an appreciation round the corner.

“On an average, one can earn 2X of the initial investment and in the best-case scenario, up to 4X can be expected, depending on the ticket size of the unit invested,” Zolo said.

The apartment’s legal ownership will rest with the investor, while the property will be registered under the investor’s name as well, Zolo said. The properties will also be RERA complaint, according to the statement.
