NITI Aayog backed initiative for innovation and entrepreneurship, Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), has signed a statement of intent (SoI) with French software corporation Dassault Systemes.
As part of the partnership, the software maker for 3D product design, simulation and manufacturing will provide access to select AIM startups to its 3DEXPERIENCE Lab, allow global community access through the lab and mentor them for product development.
The alliance will also open up Dassault Systemes’ customer, partner and technology network to these startups.
Besidea, the company will also organise and participate in joint events, hackathons and challenges organised by AIM and NITI Aayog.
“This initiative will open a new window for select Indian startups as they get access to the Dassault Systemes global startup ecosystem – their accelerator programme, and a chance to connect with peers, industry experts, engineers, designers and be a part of the 3DEXPERIENCE Lab, which I must say I am very excited about because of its ability to accelerate startups and with community worldwide,” Dr Chintan Vaishnav, mission director of AIM, said in a statement.
The partnership covers all AIM beneficiaries including Atal Tinkering Labs (ATLs) for schools, AIM Incubators, Atal Community Innovation Centres, grantees of Atal New India Challenge and Atal Research and Innovation for Small Enterprise.
