HP has launched its new Chromebook 15.6 laptop, which is powered by Intel's Celeron N4500 processor. The all-new Chromebook addition is designed to meet the demands of school and college-going students.  

According to the company, the new HP Chromebook 15.6 has a big screen and better connection with Wi-Fi6, as well as a battery life of up to 11.5 hours, making it suitable for demanding work and easy-going entertainment in the hybrid generation. 

Vickram Bedi, Senior Director - Personal Systems, HP India, said, “Our new Chromebook 15.6 laptops are designed to enable connectivity and productivity whether they are studying at home or in the classroom. This device is stylish, powerful, and well-suited for the needs of young students.”

The new HP Chromebook 15.6 comes with a separate numeric keypad and an enlarged trackpad. It also has speech-to-text capability, which helps with multitasking. 

HP QuickDrop provides the rapid and easy transmission of data and personal creations between devices. The device, which is compatible with Office365, allows hands-free access to Google Assistant, Google Classroom, and other services to promote quicker and smarter learning. 

To handle multiple virtual conversations, the new Chromebook includes two microphones and a Wide Vision HD camera. The display has micro-edge bezels and 250nits, as well as twin speakers, resulting in a little movie theatre right on the desktop.

The laptop is available in two colors: Forest Teal and Mineral Silver, with the starting price of $28,999. 

In addition to the device's current storage, customers have access to Google One with a 12-month membership, which includes 100GB of cloud storage across Google Apps and services. 

According to HP, the Chromebook 15.6 is made of ocean-bound plastic and post-consumer recycled plastic, in keeping with the company's commitment to sustainability.
