Coforge launches gen AI platform Quasar for enterprises

IT company Coforge has launched the Coforge Quasar, a generative artificial intelligence (AI) platform designed to empower enterprises. This platform arrives with a comprehensive set of over 100 application programming interfaces (API), making integration seamless and efficient. 

Quasar, as highlighted by the company, offers an array of more than 100 pre-built cognitive and generative use cases. These readily available solutions facilitate the creation of practical and efficient outcomes. The platform is built on a robust framework that encompasses Process Governance, API Governance, and Model Governance (MLOps). 

Furthermore, enterprises have the flexibility to choose between a cloud-based setup or an on-premise setup, each fortified with advanced security and controls.

Additionally, Coforge Quasar-based solutions and accelerators are accessible via the Microsoft Azure Marketplace. The platform offers six accelerators — Quasar Document AI, Quasar Speech AI, Quasar Predict AI, Quasar Vision AI, Quasar Graph AI, and Quasar Conversational AI.

In alignment with this approach, Coforge introduced Quasar e-BOL in February. This solution utilises its advanced document processing engine to address a fundamental requirement in the freight movement industry. Coforge's Quasar eBOL provides a versatile, technology-agnostic solution for digitising Bills of Lading (BOL). BOL is referred to the legal documents issued by the transportation company to the shipper detailing about the type, quantity and destination of goods being carried.

This solution empowers carriers to optimise billing processes, minimise errors, and streamline operations. Developed with open-source technology, Quasar eBOL is designed for deployment flexibility, functioning as an open API solution that works seamlessly both online (cloud) and offline (edge).
