IT services provider Infosys has collaborated with Zooplus, a European e-commerce company based in Germany, to enhance service capabilities and scalability. The partnership will establish an advanced Global Capability Center (GCC) in Hyderabad, India.

Zooplus will leverage Infosys’ artificial intelligence (AI)-powered platform, Infosys Topaz, to drive innovation, transform e-commerce capabilities, and improve operational efficiency. This collaboration will help Zooplus enhance its marketing, supply chain, and e-commerce capabilities while supporting product management, technology, quality, design, and engineering expertise. A new order management system will also be developed to further boost efficiency.

Infosys was chosen for its AI-first strategy and its ability to improve productivity and cost-effectiveness. The GCC in Hyderabad will utilise Infosys’ data-driven approach to transform Zooplus’ customer experience and improve its technology and value chain capabilities.

Geoffroy Lefebvre, CEO of Zooplus SE, emphasized the importance of the partnership, said, “Our growth strategy revolves around leveraging data-driven insights to meet customer demands. With Infosys’ AI-first approach and Topaz platform, we are confident that this collaboration will drive operational efficiencies, enhance customer experience, and keep us competitive in the evolving e-commerce landscape.”

Karmesh Vaswani, Executive Vice President & Global Head of Consumer, Retail & Logistics at Infosys, said, “By collaborating with Zooplus to establish the GCC in Hyderabad, we will enable them to achieve goals in digital commerce and marketing, powered by Infosys Topaz.”

This collaboration follows other recent initiatives by Infosys. On September 19, Infosys extended its partnership with Finland’s Posti to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency using Infosys Topaz and cloud-enabled Infosys Cobalt. On September 17, Infosys announced a long-term collaboration with the UK’s Metro Bank to digitise its operations, improve automation, and integrate AI-driven capabilities.
