Comviva and AWS partner to offer cloud-based telecom solutions

Comviva, a provider of customer experience and data monetization solutions, has partnered with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to deliver advanced Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) products. This collaboration aims to streamline customer experience and data monetization services by integrating AWS’s AI and SaaS capabilities into Comviva’s technology suite.

The collaboration is focused on helping Communication Service Providers (CSPs) modernize and simplify their service offerings. By leveraging AWS’s cloud technology, Comviva will build AI-driven tools that allow telecom operators to deploy new business strategies and enhance service value. In addition to product innovation, AWS will support Comviva in areas such as workforce skill development, business expansion, and adopting generative AI to optimize service processes.

“Cloud solutions offer telecom operators a distinct advantage in trying new strategies and business models that can help them determine the best route for delivering business value. Our strategic collaboration with AWS marks a significant milestone in our journey to empower businesses with innovative, cloud-native solutions,” said Rajesh Chandiramani, Chief Executive Officer at Comviva.

V.G. Sundar Ram, Head of Business Development, AWS India and South Asia, said, “This association aligns with our commitment to helping organisations accelerate their digital transformation journeys by providing scalable, secure, and innovative technology solutions.”

As part of this integration, Comviva will use Amazon’s AI infrastructure, Amazon Bedrock, to enhance its offerings across various platforms, including marketing, digital, revenue, and financial technology services. The company is also exploring Amazon Q to enhance developer efficiency by embedding AI tools within development workflows.

Comviva has collaborated with AWS partners over the past three years, working on infrastructure management and cloud-based solutions. This new agreement further extends its commitment to utilizing AWS's cloud ecosystem to drive modernization and efficiency across its technology services.
